Sleep Over At School-- Askja Style~!

Three weeks ago on January 14^th, my class, Askja, had a sleepover at the school on Game Night. It was a lot of fun! During game night we played a lot of games, but as soon as the parents left, it was all Askja! We were watched by Mirjam and Kirsten, who are very nice and fun. They also joined our fun.

We started by playing pillow fight. The boys were very rough, but everyone had fun. Everyone chased each other with pillows, and sometimes we even grouped up on each other as teams! It really got us tired—perfect to relax after this with a movie!

We watched ‘She’s the Man’, which Maria brought for us to watch, in Pam’s room. Everyone got a good laugh from it! We all liked it (I think!) During the movie, we all passed around popcorn and candy for snacks. It was great!

After the movie, we all set out to get ready for bed. The boys were going sleeping in the library, and we girls were going to sleep in Kirsten’s classroom. There was a whole lot of hustle and bustle as everyone got ready. Then some people played a few games like candy land, and others read books. We also talked and snuggled under our sleeping bags.

Soon, the lights were out. All of the boys fell asleep quite quickly, but we girls stayed up longer talking and joking like we do. Even so, we also fell asleep in the quiet room.

When we woke up, it wasn’t so pleasant, however. The boys were so loud! They talked loudly and took pictures, and the flashes woke us up. Tiredly, we all got dressed and brushed our teeth for breakfast.

For breakfast, everyone brought their own food. I brought some cereal, and I drank some hot tea. It was very nice and calming. It was interesting how we woke up at school, and we carried on through the day like regular!

All in all, I had a lot of fun at the sleepover, and I bet the rest of Askja would agree happily.
