Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lighting Thief

Main characters: Percy, Grover, Annabeth, Chiron, and Sally.
Story: After being attacked by his math teacher who turned into a fury (big scary flying monsters), and his mom (Sally) being crushed ino golden dust by a man-bull, Percy Jackson wakes up in camp Half-Blood, a summer camp for the sons and daughters of Greek gods. But it is omly after a game of capture the flag Percy is claimed, and it‘s a god Percy never thought about-Poseidon. But Percy has no time to wonder about that becaus Zeuz‘ thunderbolt has been stolen, and everyone thinks he did it. So now Percy and his friend have only 10 days to return the bolt and prevent WW3.

Film: As you might know the film of the book is soon coming out, and from the look of the trailer, it seems promising. Maybe it will become the the new Harry Potter, just with less sequels?

Reveiw: A good mdern twist to Greek mythology(much more learning and fun than a gigantic textbook), but the gods haven‘t seemed to change for the last 2000 years. Still, a must read.
