Have you ever heard of a book called ‘Born to run’?!

Born to run is about a dog that cannot find a permanent home.
He has three different owners and three different names.
1. His first life involves a boy named Patrick and the dogs name is Best Mate.
Patrick saved Best Mate from drowning in a canal.
Later on, Best Mate gets stolen in the park by the stepfather of his next owner.
2. His next owner is a girl named Becky and the dogs name is Bright Eyes her stepfather owns many greyhounds for racing. Bright Eyes finds a friend and never leaves his sight. One morning, a horrible accident happens to his friend and Becky’s mean stepfather takes him away and kills him. Becky runs away and ends up in the hospital.
3. His third owner finds him outside of the hospital and takes him home. The man’s name was Joe and the dogs name was Paddywack from the saying:
This Old Man, he played one,
He Played knick knack on my drum,
With a Knick Knack Paddywack,
Give a Dog a Bone,
This Old Man Came Rolling Home!
Later on, Paddywack found Patrick again but sadly he did not remember him any more.
Paddywack and Joe lived happily ever after.
I love this book so much because it makes me so emotional to read it and the dog is always in an adventure with all his friends. Please read this book I’m sure you will love it!!
